Fashion At Eye was founded and curated by Hakan San PhD, currently known as "Turkish Eyewear Guru" by Turkish Press. Fashion At Eye Sunglasses Boutique, situated in trendy Karaköy French Arcade of Istanbul, features unworn vintage sunglasses as well as contemporary and independent designers' collections. The boutique also features hand made house brands; San Glasses and MEMO.

Memo Sunglasses

The starting point of MEMO SUNGLASSES is the changing colors of Istanbul where we live four seasons to the full extent. The lenses of MEMO feature antireflective coating and UV filter. Mr. Mehmet San (a.k.a. MEMO), one of the first Turkish opticians, whom we get our inspiration says: “When I look back, I love every single day of my 60 years career as an optician, trying to make you see the world better. Now, it is the time to color our memories. I hope your MEMO SUNGLASSES show you beautiful things and let you forgive, love and see with the heart.” And we, as MEMO SUNGLASSES team couldn’t agree more…

SAN Glasses

SAN GLASSES are dedicated to Turkey’s first female optician Sema San and they carry the colors of Anatolia’s cultural mosaic together with the artisanship of Turkish craftsmen to your visage. We produce our sunglasses in Turkey and provide a perfect combination of our recently launched and internationally recognized two color lenses with our geometric frames. The San Glasses Collection is designed to reflect the nostalgic eyewear models San Family has been selling and collected in their 60 years of career. After the design process, we carefully evaluate our models through academic and scientific methods and finally present them to your appeal. Our motto is always ‘innovation’ and ‘creativity’ encouraged by Sema San who has taught and practiced opticianry for many years.
